Join me on for my inaugural birding trip on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 @ 8 am! Weather permitting, we will meet at the parking area on South Yarrow Street, then head out to see what we can find around Kountze Lake. This is a great place to see quite a variety of species (such as the spotted sandpiper below!) If there is bad weather, I will postpone this outing to another date and send you a message with the new details.

Bring your binoculars/camera gear, dress for the weather, and don’t forget your sunscreen and water/snacks! You may also want to familiarize yourself with a birding app - such as Audubon, Merlin, or eBird - so you can keep track of and identify the birds we see.
