Summer is here, so we’ll enjoy the later sunset with an afternoon walk at Prospect Park and see what summery birds we can find. We’ll begin on the west side, at the Youngfield entrance. There is a porta-potty at this entrance too. We will likely have a mid-walk break at the other parking area where there is another bathroom. We’ll take a leisurely walk around several of the Prospect Park ponds and along the biking path. The paths are mostly flat and are a mix of pavement and gravel. All abilities and birders are welcome! Bring your binoculars, camera (optional), and listening ear for what should be an exciting afternoon looking for birds! Park at the Youngfield Entrance (see map).
