Since I did not have enough sign ups for the walk at Castlewood back in December, we’re going to try this again. Weather permitting…join me for my first time exploring Castlewood Canyon State Park! A valid state parks pass is required, or you can purchase one when you arrive. I also have a state parks pass and can pick you up near the park to drive us in. Depending on how many want to join, this may be an option for up to 3 people.

Castlewood Canyon is a new location for me, so let’s explore it together! I am planning to enter at the main/east entrance of the park and meet at the visitor center. Then, we’ll explore Canyon View Nature Trail, Inner Canyon, and Lake Gulch Trails. We will see what birds and wildlife we can find while enjoying some fresh air! Plan to bring snacks/picnic dinner, as we’ll end our hike with a sunset picnic.
