Walk the Path at Northwest Open Space

  • 2100 W 112th Ave Northglenn, CO, 80234 United States (map)

For this walk, we’ll start at the Northwest Open Space and follow the path along the stream to look for wildlife and all types of birds that call Northglenn & Westminster home! From Kestrels to Warblers, this open space has a plethora of our feathered friends. We will make our way to Mushroom Pond, where many local & migratory birds make the pond their home or stopover point. It’s also a great place to see muskrats and turtles! This out and back walk is relatively level and has ample parking near the Northwest Recycle Center, or across the water near the ball fields (see map).
