Join me at Jim Hamm Nature Area for a relaxing late afternoon walk on Easter Sunday! This park has a small lake and great wetland habitat, which has yielded excellent species due to its proximity to Union Reservoir. It frequently has fly-overs from larger and rarer birds! It also hosts birds that rely on wetlands and large cottonwood trees. Let’s see what we find!

The parking lot entrance is small and comes up quickly when you are driving along County Line Road. There is not great signage, so be on the lookout for the entrance. There is a restroom here, but it might not yet be open due to its seasonal availability.
