The Colorado Field Ornithologists (CFO) Colorado Birding Challenge is an all-day event where “birdathon meets big day”. I would love to set up a team to do this challenge and see how many birds we can observe in 24 hours! The Fall Birding Festival at Barr Lake is happening this day as well, so we could start at this event and branch out to other locations in Adams County to find as many birds as possible.
