Join me for an afternoon of wildlife watching and birding at Rocky Mountain National Park! We will determine a meeting spot, and carpool up to the park. I have room for 3 people. The reservation is set and you will not need a park pass.
Our focus will be on taking several short hikes to look for wildlife and birds. We will also hope to observe the elk rut and possibly spend time sitting and watching. We will plan to end the day with a picnic dinner…location within the park TBD.
Bring your binoculars, cameras, appropriate mountain apparel and footwear, and lots of snacks & water. We will be in the park until after sunset, so you may want to bring a picnic dinner.
