For the past couple weekends (August 24 and September 7), I’ve volunteered at Denver Audubon’s Kingery Nature Center - as a welcoming host to the campus. We greet visitors, help answer questions, and provide some education about our plant, animal, and bird species we encounter! These have been some wonderful hours spent with other lovely volunteers passionate about making the Kingery Nature Center the go-to spot for adventure and information. If you’d like to learn more, you can visit the center on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday mornings from 8 am to noon to meet these volunteers. Or, visit the Denver Audubon website to learn even more!
