On September 5, I hosted a walk at Brainard Lake Recreation Area, where we ended up hiking around Long Lake . Fall was definitely in the air, with temps hovering around 50 degrees and fog lingered on the mountain tops. Glimpses of yellow and gold danced among the last remaining wild flowers still blooming. It was a wonderful afternoon hike!
