Wildlife Wednesday on Thanksgiving Eve
A peaceful afternoon looking for animals in the snow. I ended up seeing some stud bucks, lots of bison, prairie dogs, coyotes, and even a nice variety of birds - including black-capped chickadees, American tree sparrows, common goldeneyes, buffleheads, and more! Please enjoy the photos below!
Nice Mule Deer buck in the snow
He was not a fan of this tree
Love the unique antlers on this buck
This buck was love struck
But really, just doing his job during the rut
He had all the ladies, and was keeping other bucks away
He's very nice!
The bison were out in full force, had to be over 100 of them
Prairie dogs were out too, these 2 young siblings were huddling together
Horned Lark
Common Goldeneye
Black-capped Chickadee
Golden Hour
This buck was very cooperative
He had a long day chasing does
Long day, but always on alert!
